You’re probably wondering what the 3 Wisemen have to do with the 3 Stooges, right? Honestly, not much. I wanted to get your attention so you might let me share something that can be very valuable to you.

Me, myself and I. There are three different and common pronouns of referring to your self. They are also three ways of describing your selfhood. And, as well, they are three different ways to look at yourself. And they are definitely 3 surefire ways to limit your potential.

Read the following carefully:

No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.” ~ Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

When you rely on only “me, myself and I,” you severely limit yourself. However, when you invite other like-minded people to assist you, you’ll create a synergy, which exponentially expands the possibilities of whatever you’re trying to accomplish.

These same people will also see your B.S. more clearly than you (not that B.S.). That would be your Blind Spots, more commonly referred to as your limiting beliefs, your cognitive distortions or just your plain old stinkin’ thinkin’.

Perhaps The Beatles said it best, “I get by with a little help from my friends” (from their song, With A Little Help From My Friends).

If you really want to be your best, create your best, have the best relationships and the best life, then don’t rely on only Me, Myself and I. Reach out, ask for help, find those like-minded people, and create your own MasterMind group. Allow your self to then reap the benefits of these synergistic relationships with the people who can help you see what you can’t see, so you can be all you can truly be.

Over the years and the thousands of clients I’ve worked with, they’ve all had one thing in common: They haven’t been able to figure out whatever brought them in to see me by relying on only themselves. They needed more information, a different perspective and some guidance to help achieve the outcome they otherwise were not able to achieve.

One of the biggest struggles I see people have with themselves is their almighty ego that often echoes some variation of, “I got this and I don’t need to ask for any help.” I often refer to these as the fatal last words.

Remember,
Beware of the 3 Wisemen: Me, Myself and I

When you limit your connections with other people, you limit the power of your MasterMind alliance. This, then, limits all the innate gifts and talents you have to share with others. And if you didn’t notice, the world could use all you’ve got to offer right now.

So expand your life and rely on more than just the 3 limiting internal wisemen. Then, watch your potentiality grow and prosper. And, as always, if I can help in any way, I’d be honored to do so.
